Before Nelle’s Naturals was a business, it was simply me taking care of my family.
I’m a mother of three boys, an auntie to a beautiful niece, and a former police officer. For years, so much of my life centered around caring for people, protecting them, showing up when they needed me, and finding solutions when something wasn’t right.
That same instinct is what eventually led me here.
When my youngest son, Emmanuel, began experiencing thinning and bald spots in his hair, I did what mothers do: I started looking for answers.
I wanted something I felt comfortable using on my child, but I also wanted something that actually worked.
So I began researching ingredients, learning, experimenting, and formulating.
That process becameEmmanuel’s Oil.
At the time, I wasn’t trying to create a hero product. I was trying to help my son.
But when other people began seeing his results and asking what I was using, I realized the solution I had created for my family could help other families too.
And that became the beginning of Nelle’s Naturals.
As the brand grew, so did the products.
And because this business has always been deeply personal to me, many of those products carried the names of the people who inspired them.
Emmanuel’s Oil carries my youngest son’s name and the story that started it all.
Azariah Butter Cream was named after my niece, Azariah.
AndIzzy’s Chocolate Mousse was created during a time when my son Izzy was struggling with his skin and his confidence.
These were never just cute product names.
They represented real children. Real concerns. Real moments in our home.
That is still how I think about formulation today.
I create for real people.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, I served as a police officer.
That experience shaped me in ways that still show up in how I run this company today. It taught me discipline, resilience, responsibility, and what it means to show up for people even when things are difficult.
My uniform may have changed, but the heart behind the work hasn’t.
I still believe in service.
Now, I simply get to serve differently.
Through Nelle’s Naturals, I get to create products that help women and families care for their hair, skin, and bodies with confidence.
What began with one mother trying to help her child eventually grew into thousands of orders and customers trusting products that were first created for the people closest to me.
That will never be lost on me.
Behind every bottle, jar, bar, and formula is the same intention I had in the beginning:
Would I feel good giving this to someone I love?
If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t belong here.
Nelle’s Naturals is hair care.
It is skincare.
It is body care.
But underneath all of that, it is family.
It is problem-solving.
It is service.
It is a mother using what she knows, learning what she doesn’t, and creating something better for the people she loves.
And then sharing it with yours.
What started in my home for my family has grown into a brand that now serves families far beyond mine.
