A Family Affair

Hey Family,

Today, I want to share something truly special about my journey of running a family business. As a mom of three incredible boys, and a passionate creator of natural products, I have discovered that working with my family is one of the most frustrating, scary and rewarding experiences of my life.

Running a family business is far from easy, there are challenges, like finding the balance between work and family time, or navigating different opinions on how things should be done. There's also the challenge of making sure everyone shows up on time. When you work for your family, you tend to just come as you please, when you please.  But these difficulties are so small-ish compared to the immense joy and bond that working together creates.

Our natural family brand is most definitely a labor of love, inspired by my family and crafted with care. Each product holds a special place in my heart, as they are mostly named after family members and created with them in mind. For instance, Izzy's Chocolate Mousse Body Butter was inspired by my middle son's love for all things chocolatey and sweet and his disinterest in applying any kind of lotion. I thought to myself "if only I could entice him into wanting to moisturize" then it hit me ! Chocolate body butter! And he's been glistening ever since. Every time I make it, I'm reminded of his bright eyed smile the first time I introduced it to him.

Our Azariah Butter is another personal and customer favorite, named after my niece, whose sensitive, eczema laden skin would break out with every product she tried. Each product, from Emmanuel's  Oil to Eli's Shampoo, tells a story of love, care, and connection.

Working alongside my children, mother and sister has strengthened our bond in ways I never imagined. We laugh, brainstorm, and create together, turning challenges into opportunities for growth and learning. The pride I see in their eyes when they talk about our products makes every effort worth it.

Our family business is more than just a brand; it’s a testament to our love and dedication. It's about creating products that not only nourish the skin and hair but also carry the warmth of family love. I am grateful every day for the chance to share this journey with my family and to bring you products that come straight from our hearts to your home.
